Our Team

Hector Gonzalez - Director of OPS
Hector is the Chief Pilot for 7Air. With more than 32 years of aviation experience, he has held various line, training and management positions including Instructor, Check Airman, OPT/EFB Manager, Director of Training and Chief Pilot.
Hector currently occupies the esteemed role of Chief Pilot at 7Air, where he presides over crucial flight operations and provides leadership within the aviation organization. His extensive aviation journey spans an impressive 32 years, during which he has amassed a wealth of experience across various facets of the industry. His professional trajectory includes the fulfillment of diverse roles, ranging from line positions to training and management responsibilities.
Within the realm of aviation instruction, Hector has taken on the roles of Instructor and Check Airman, imparting his knowledge and expertise to aspiring aviators while ensuring safety and competence. Additionally, he has overseen critical aspects of flight operations as an OPT/EFB Manager, demonstrating his proficiency in managing advanced systems and processes crucial for modern aviation.
Moreover, Hector’s career has seen him ascend to significant leadership positions, such as Director of Training and, most notably, Chief Pilot. These roles underscore his capacity to navigate the complexities of aviation management while upholding rigorous standards of safety and efficiency.
Hector’s career journey has taken him through an array of major airlines, both domestic and international. His invaluable contributions have graced esteemed carriers such as Avensa Airlines, Planet Airways, MaxJet Airways, Sky King, Ethiopian Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Amerijet Int’l and Global Crossing Airlines. His impressive qualifications include a current Airline Transport Pilot certificate, fortified by type ratings on a range of aircraft, including the A320, B727, B737, B757, B767, and DC9, reflecting his multifaceted expertise across various aircraft types.
Furthermore, Hector’s flight experience is nothing short of exceptional, with over 15,000 hours logged in the cockpit. This extensive flight time not only attests to his deep-seated dedication to aviation but also highlights his remarkable proficiency in safely navigating the skies.

Markus Schleich - Director of Maintenance
Markus began his journey in aviation from following in his grandfather’s footsteps. The love for aviation took him to Teterboro School of Aeronautics, in Moonachie, New Jersey, where he obtained his Airframe & Powerplant license. Markus is currently working to finish his Master’s in Leadership and Sustainability through Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland as he took a break during 2020. Markus has also been training in 6 Sigma programs and PMP as he is planning to obtain his PMP Certification in the coming year.
In the course of his 41-year career, Markus has worked in various positions within the aircraft maintenance environment including , Quality, Planning and Routing, Supply Chain, Line and Base Maintenance, MCC, Engineering, Acquisition and Lease Returns. He has been in the leadership role over 25 years as Director of Maintenance in both the FAA and as well as a Post Holder within the context of an EASA based certificate in the UAE (GCAA). Markus enjoys developing team members and supporting them as they navigate the industry with his experience in avionics, systems and powerplants.
Throughout his career he has worked in both Cargo and Passenger operations ranging from large operator (Continental, People Express, FedEx and Atlas Air) as well as smaller operators (EOS, Maxjet, HeavyLift Airlines, Falcon, and Florida West) in location in and outside of the United States. He also had the opportunity to work in the MRO environment with CJI and AAR, as well as the OEM with Thales Avionics IFE covering the Americas Region for IFE and Connectivity (American, United, JetBlue and Latam).
The experience and opportunities Markus has been able to achieve has provided a diverse knowledge of the airline maintenance and operational requirements needed to successfully maintain a fleet.

Jacqueline Munroe – Director of Safety
Jacqueline Munroe is a seasoned professional known for her unwavering commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. She has a distinguished career spanning over 33 years in the aviation industry. Her multifaceted background, encompassing roles in passenger and cargo airlines and civil aviation authorities, serves as a testament to her extensive knowledge and expertise in aviation safety.
Jacqueline’s educational foundation is as impressive as her professional journey. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics, with a minor in Aviation Safety and Management, from the renowned Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Her commitment to ongoing education and professional development is evident through her multiple safety program certificates from the University of Southern California.
Her most outstanding achievements were certifying airports and implementing the Safety Management System for airlines. She has held pivotal roles that have solidified her reputation as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation, and management of Safety Management Systems (SMS). She served as Airline Director of Safety, Aerodrome Certification Manager, Aviation Safety Inspector, Senior Safety Auditor, Operations Control Manager, SMS Manager, and Aircraft Dispatcher.
Jacqueline’s illustrious career is an unswerving commitment to safety, epitomized by her invaluable contributions to enhancing safety management systems across the industry. Her wealth of experience and qualifications position her as a prominent figure in aviation safety. Today, she serves as the Director of Safety at 7AIR and is responsible for the SMS implementation and management.

Carlo Postell – Director of Quality
Carlo’s educational journey commenced at Aviation High School in New York, a venerable institution that laid the initial stepping stones for his aviation-focused academic pursuit. Subsequently, he embarked on a higher education odyssey at the renowned Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, where he diligently pursued and ultimately attained a distinguished Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Aviation Technology.
Furthermore, Carlo’s commitment to professional excellence is evident through his acquisition of several significant licenses, including those for Airframe, Powerplant, and FCC. These licenses are a testament to his dedication to mastering the intricacies of aviation and enhancing his qualifications in a multifaceted manner.
In the course of his illustrious career spanning more than three and a half decades, Carlo has demonstrated his profound expertise by occupying the crucial role of Director of Quality Control for both Regional and Air Transport aircraft. This pivotal position underscored his commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance in the aviation industry, and it further solidified his reputation as a trusted authority in the field.
Remarkably, Carlo’s career trajectory encompasses a diverse range of experiences, including significant involvement in FAR 121 Flag and Domestic passenger operations, as well as substantial contributions to FAR 121 Supplemental All Cargo airline operations. These various roles and responsibilities have collectively enriched his knowledge base, making him an invaluable asset to the aviation sector.
